Labyrinth

The Labyrinth is an ancient Christian prayer form that leads through a circular path to the center - like the believer's path to God at the center. It is a tool for calming, peaceful and healing prayer.

A seven-circuit Labyrinth is available periodically in the Chapel. Everyone is welcome to walk the Labyrinth. Brochures are available with suggestions for prayer while walking the Labyrinth.

The Labyrinth is not a maze. It has no dead ends or trick turns. It is a single path to the center with the same path returning. The circuitous path, sometimes closer to the center, sometimes further away, but always leading to the center--becomes a metaphor for our lives as Christians--always seeking a closer walk with God, sometimes finding ourselves nearer, and sometimes further away.
